Oil pastel and paintstick on paper, 14″ x 11″

I did one good drawing this weekend, but it’s going to be slow for a bit because I’m going to Minnesota next weekend so I won’t get to do any artwork for a while.  I’m also in the midst of spring cleaning – my studio was becoming a dumping ground for stuff I wasn’t sure where to put, and it needs to be cleared out. I also weeded some piles of my old artwork – some of the stuff was from high school, and god was it bad. Can’t believe they let me be an art major back then. No snarky comments please, though no one reads this.

Mar. 3 – Snowdrop

March 11, 2008

Charcoal, snowdrop in my yard, 11″ x 9″ – using a pad meant meant for charcoal but I’m not sure if I like how it behaves, doesn’t seem to want to take vine charcoal or erase.

Took a break from oil pastels to finish a charcoal drawing, 14″ x 11″

I did a longer, skinny piece for another linear design:

Wow, I’m almost 2 weeks behind in scanning and posting stuff.  Here is a continuation of black/white work, this time using Neopastels instead of the Sennelier:
